Bridge over the River Thames that connects the city of london and southwark. This bridge forms the western end of the pool of london. This is a five lane bridge. Was the only bridge over the Thames until Putney bridge opened in 1729.

One of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. Connects the New York City borroughs and Manhattan as it spans over the East River. It was the longest bridge(1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) until 1903. The brooklyn bridge is the first steel-wire suspension bridge. This is a toll free bridge that carries motor vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles. Up until 1944, it carries elevator trains, and carried streetcars until 1950.

A 16th century Ottoman bridge in the city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Crosses the river Neretva and connects two parts of the city. Stood for 427 years, until it was destroyed on November 9, 1993 during the Croat-Bosniak War.
